We can’t wait to welcome you to Manchester Furniture Show in Harrogate this July. You will be asked to demonstrate your COVID-19 status when entering the event.  It’s quick and simple to demonstrate your COVID-19 status using the NHS COVID Pass.  Using the NHS COVID Pass will help streamline your entry to the event and get you into the show quickly.

By downloading the NHS App onto your smartphone, you can use the NHS COVID Pass to show your vaccination or lateral flow test status to the registration staff as you enter the event.  Or, download and show an offline version or print a copy of your status and show the printed version instead.

If you don’t have access to a computer or smartphone, then you can order a copy of the NHS COVID Pass letter if you have been vaccinated by telephoning 119 but please note that the letter can take up to 5 working days to reach you.

What is the condition of entry?

Two Vaccines

Everyone (aged 11 and over) will be required to show proof of COVID status upon entry, either in the form of both vaccinations (first and second dose), and with the second dose 14 days ago; or a negative NHS lateral flow test.

NHS Negative Lateral Flow Test

For buyers and exhibitors registered with a GP in England, proof of a negative NHS lateral flow test taken within 48hrs prior to attending the event can be displayed via NHS App, SMS text, or via email. 

For buyers and exhibitors registered with a GP in England proof of vaccine can be displayed via the NHS App, NHS website or by downloading and printing off a PDF. 

A non-digital letter is also available through the NHS website using the ‘Get your coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccination status letter’ service or by phoning 119. 

How do I provide proof of my negative lateral flow test?

To make sure you have proof of your negative lateral flow test you must report your result to the NHS.
To can do this via using one of the below options – you will need the QR Code, or the ID number from the test strip to report your result.

How do I get my COVID Pass to gain entry to the event if i'm a visitor from Scotland?
If you live in Scotland, you can find out how to obtain your vaccination status on this website.

How do I get my COVID Pass to gain entry to the event if i'm a visitor from Wales?
If you live in Wales, you can find out how to obtain your vaccination status on this website.

How do I get my COVID Pass to gain entry to the event if i'm a visitor from Northern Ireland?
If you live in Northern Ireland you must supply paper proof of vaccination from your GP, or alternatively show a negative lateral flow test result.

Do I need to wear a mask?
We are a mask-friendly event. However, you are not required to wear a mask on any of the open days. 

Will social distancing be in place?
As a test event there will be no requirement for social distancing when the event is open, however we have increased aisle space.

Will there be hand sanitiser available?
Hand sanitising stations will be installed at the entrances and around site at regular intervals.

Do I need to quarantine after the event?
No, if you do not feel any symptoms of Covid-19 you will not need to quarantine after the event.

How will toilet facilities be operated?
Toilet facilities will be available and clearly signposted. 

What should I do if I feel unwell or are displaying COVID 19 symptoms?
Please follow current Government guidelines and arrange to go for a PCR test.

What happens if there has only been one week between my second vaccination and the event?
For buyers registered with a GP in England, proof of a negative NHS lateral flow test taken within 48hrs prior to attending the event can be displayed via NHS App, SMS text, or via email. 

What happens if I do not have the NHS app?
Proof of a negative NHS lateral flow test taken within 48hrs prior to attending the event can be displayed via NHS App, SMS text, or via email. 

Proof of vaccine can be displayed via the NHS App, NHS website or by downloading and printing off a PDF. 

A non-digital letter is also available through the NHS website using the ‘Get your coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccination status letter’ service or by phoning 119. 

What if I am travelling from Scotland or Wales?
Buyers from Scotland and Wales can show their vaccine status via a PDF from their respective NHS body.

Do I need to take a PCR or NHS lateral flow test post attending the event?
No

What if I want to attend on multiple days?
You can still attend for multiple days, you may need to do a second lateral flow as you must have a negative result within 48hours prior to attending any day.
