La-Z-Boy and Chelsom have signed to show at the Manchester Furniture Show (MFS) this summer. La-Z-Boy will have their largest ever stand at the show. First time MFS exhibitors Chelsom will show as part of the MidPoint partnership. MFS takes place from 15th – 17th July at Manchester Central.
La-Z-Boy UK marketing director Mark Draper said:

On the back of this we are launching new product categories at the Manchester Furniture Show and have booked our largest and most prominent stand at the event. La-Z-Boy UK will introduce a new collection of pedestal chairs as well as a brand new bed and mattress collection at MFS. Details of both new collections are still being finalised. But it has been revealed that all bed frames will all be made to order and will feature choices of an extensive collection of La-Z-Boy fabrics and leathers.
The brand will also be showing its latest upholstery innovation – Urban Attitudes. Featuring an innovative, specially designed reclining mechanism, Urban Attitudes offers the contemporary styling of city chic static furniture on legs, with the benefits of a concealed recline. A range of luxurious and eye-catching new fabrics offers a modern feel.
New additions to La-Z-Boy’s popular Originals Collection and Comfort Studio Collection will be on display at Manchester too.
First time MFS exhibitors Chelsom, are now into their 70th year and have recently been awarded the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise and highlighted in the Sunday Times 'Fast Track 100’.
Chelsom are increasing their impact on the markets of contemporary furniture and lighting. Building on their long-standing trade with many celebrated retailers and design firms, they are becoming a ‘go-to’ brand for design, quality and commercial appeal in occasional furniture. They bringing new shapes and finishes to MFS reflecting current design trends and harmonising with current and emerging upholstery styles and materials.
